Across her roles, Soraya has led group and one‑to‑one clinics, contributed to service development, and supported patients with long‑term weight management, associated metabolic risk, IBS and wider gut health concerns. She holds an MSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, a PgCert in Applied Sports Nutrition, and specialist training in IBS and the low FODMAP approach, underpinning a strong clinical and academic foundation.
Beyond her core clinical posts, Soraya has been invited to speak on weight management and plant‑based nutrition at national events including VegfestUK and lifestyle medicine conferences, sharing practical insights from frontline obesity care with both professional and public audiences. This blend of hands‑on NHS experience, postgraduate training and national speaking work makes her a highly experienced senior member of the weight management team.
